Sunday Worship Service: 10:00 AM
Find your church home at First Baptist Church in Keyport, NJ
First Baptist Church is a multigenerational community of believers, each with our own strengths and weaknesses, yet united by the grace of God and the hope of the gospel. When you visit, you can expect a church that gathers around the truth of God’s Word through singing, praying, preaching, and monthly communion. Our Sunday worship music includes a blend of contemporary worship and traditional hymns, accompanied by piano, guitar, and, on alternating Sundays, our historic pipe organ, as we lift our voices together in praise to the Lord.
Visitors are invited to stay for our Lunch and Fellowship on the second Sunday of each month. This offers a wonderful opportunity to meet those in our church. No need to bring food, just come and enjoy the fellowship!
Nursery and Children’s Ministry
For families visiting with children.
Children are always welcome to remain with their families throughout the entire worship service, but we also offer a nursery for children under age 5 and Children’s Church for ages 5–9. Children’s Church is before the sermon, with children guided to their classroom to learn Bible stories, sing songs, make crafts, and have lots of fun.
For the safety of our children and volunteers, all ministry workers are background checked, exterior doors with street-access are locked during the service, security cameras are used throughout the building, and two attendants are always present. When you arrive, please notify a greeter if you’d like to put your children in the nursery or Children’s Church, and they will help guide you.
